The National Weather Service office in Glasgow, Montana has issued an official Red Flag Warning for portions of Montana. A Red Flag Warning is in effect from July 31 at 8:13PM MDT until August 2 at 9:00PM MDT for critical fire weather concerns. Southeast winds on August 1 will turn to the Northwest, with speeds at 15 to 25 MPH and gusts up to 35 MPH. Outdoor burning is not recommended due to rapidly spreading fires. The affected area includes Fort Peck Reservation and several counties.
