The IMG, (Insurance Mastermind Group) annual expo held in New Orleans this year was a smashing success! There are several reasons the event was so heavily attended and highly successful. Noble Public Adjusting Group, and the other companies and individual entrepreneurs from all corners of the contracting industry:
- Learned about new products and services by visiting different vendor booths
- Attended classes on products, sales, marketing and skills for their particular niche
- Networked like crazy
- Made tons of new friends
- Had a total blast
What a wonderful experience the IMG 2018 was! However, there really is nothing to compare to something else that happened during the IMG Expo New Orleans 2018. Noble was among the many attending the annual even who raised money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. If you don’t know about St. Jude, here are the main thing you should understand. Their mission statement is simple. Finding Cures. Saving Children. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food. The hospital totally depends on donations to keep it running. This allows the family of a sick child the freedom from worry while they attend to the needs of that child. The non-profit organization was originally founded by the now deceased actor and comedian, Danny Thomas.
Noble Public Adjusting Group is proud to say that we raised $3000.00 through a silent auction that took place at the Cambria Hotel, New Orleans, the first night of the IMG Expo. Bo Williamson, the owner of Noble, also donated the cash prize of $520.00 from winning the arm wrestling championship that was held over the course of the IMG Expo 2018. We also donated $500.00 to Shilo Harris’ mission. Shilo is a war veteran and public figure. We talked about Shilo and the arm wrestling championship last week in this blog post.
Yes, the team at Noble is very happy to have been able to donate to this worthy cause and proud of the amount we donated. However, the biggest news of all is that a grand total of $20,000.00 was raised by the event as a whole! We want to give a big shout out to Kevin Burpee, CEO, and Founder of IMG, and to all of the fantastic team that made this event possible. It is wonderful news, to find out that together, we raised that much money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
